Here are a few examples of reparations to damaged transformers  

Reparation 1

Heavy damage of the cooling fins
In the pictures you can see the following steps:

  1. Grinding of damaged connection bar and sealing leaks at the top of the heat sink / cooling fin
  2. Re-welding of the connection bar
  3. Spray test for leakage
  4. Finishing touches

This kind of work is done on premise while the oil remains in the transformer so there are no transport costs, and there is minimal loss of production.

Reparation 2

Heftruk accident
In the pictures you can see the following steps:

  1. Removing the reinforcement bar, sealing the leaks and place the bar back to it's original position
  2. Paint in original colour

This kind of work is done on premise while the oil remains in the transformer so there are no transport costs, and there is minimal loss of production.

Reparation 3

transport damage Transformator

Situation:
Broken metal by friction with another transformer, if you know that the thickness of the fin is only 1.2mm. It's clearly to see on the pictures that they do not have much strength and flexibility.
Damage by improper handling during unloading of the transformer.

This damage is caused by a crane hook who was hanging loose
